Help us build one city, rising together. Mayor Bill de Blasio has pledged to ensure that the City levels the playing field for Minority and Women-Owned businesses (M/WBEs) competing for City contracts.

The City has set aggressive goals, including a commitment to award the following:
•  More than $16 billion to M/WBEs by 2025
•  At least 30 percent of the dollar amount of City contracts to M/WBEs by 2021

We are encouraging all New York City business owners, both M/WBE and non-M/WBE, to provide information about their experiences doing business, or attempting to do business, with the City.

If you were unable to attend our Community Meetings in May, you can view the presentation or watch recordings of the meetings.

Additionally, you can help us improve the City’s M/WBE Program by providing information about your experiences with City procurement.

To help strengthen the City’s M/WBE Program, the City has contracted MGT of America, Inc. to conduct a new disparity study to explore potential changes to its M/WBE Program. The City’s disparity study is separate from the State’s disparity study.
